Connecting to PhoenixAI & the Gryphon Agent

Step 1: To start PhoenixAI double click on the PhoenixAI icon on your desktop.

Step 2: To connect to the PhoenixAI servers, enter the username and password that you got when you signed up to a PhoenixAI data subscription. Then tick the 'Remember Credentials' box.

Step 3: Click 'OK'.

 The program will now attempt to connect to the server.

Step 4: When it has connected, confirmation of your connection can be seen at the bottom right hand side of the screen with the word ONLINE and a little green happy face.

If you are having trouble connecting to the PhoenixAI server, you should consult the trouble shooting page for connecting to PhoenixAI.

Connecting to the Gryphon Agent Server

Step 1: Right click on the 'G' in the bottom right corner (adjacent to the green happy guy).

Step 2: Select 'Connect me' from the menu that appears.

Step 3: Enter your Gryphon Learning user credentials (If you don't have your Gryphon Learning user credentials call 1300 730 945 or email support@gryphonlearning.com.au).

Note: Your PhoenixAI username and password will not work with the Gryphon Agent, you must use the username and password supplied by Gryphon Learning.

Step 4: Tick only the boxes 'Remember Credentials', 'Try to connect when PhoenixAI does' &  'I agree'.

Step 5: Click 'OK'

Step 6: A green 'G' like the one below means that you're connected successfully.

If the 'G' is flashing between green and a square white box with a red exclamation mark, this also means that you're connected successfully, but you have unread messages waiting for you.

Note: The first time you connect the 'G' will flash green and yellow like this: This means the Gryphon tools are currently being downloaded and all you need to do is wait. Downloading the tools only happens the first time you connect to the Gryphon Agent and should only take a few minutes on an ADSL connection. After the first connection, the 'G' should connect relatively instantly.
